WANNA LEARM THE DARK ARTS?

We start the day by getting the fire lit and making a nice cup of tea (first things first). You will then spend the rest of the day learning about everything the flames have to teach including managing your fire, wood types and how to get the best results from wood fired cookery, plus a whole lot more.
After making your own breakfast over the fire we will prepare a shoulder of lamb to slow cook in a salt crust. While that's ticking over we will discuss the principles of cooking over fire then show you how to cook various seasonal vegetables for a light lunch and how to roast fish on a cedar plank.

£170 per person. The day starts at 10am and finishes at 17.00pm

The day course should give you the confidence to get you going on your own journey of wood fired cooking. We keep numbers to a maximum of 10 and unfortunately we do not recommend people on the course with specific allergy and dietary requirements.
